How to switch a keyboard from QWERTY to AZERTY on Windows 11
Did you just restart your PC or accidentally press the wrong key and suddenly your keyboard switched to QWERTY? Don't panic. Here's a step-by-step guide, with screenshots, to switch your keyboard back to AZERTY on Windows 11.

Step 1: Access language settings
Start by opening your Windows operating system 's Settings . Click on the Time & Language section in the left menu, then select Language & Region .
(To access the settings: taskbar --> windows --> settings)

Step 2: Manage installed languages
In the Preferred Languages section, locate the French (France) block. Click on the three small dots on the right, then on Language options .

Step 3: Access keyboard options
You arrive at the input language settings. Scroll down to the Keyboards section and click on Add a keyboard .

Step 4: Add the traditional French AZERTY keyboard
In the list that opens, select French (Traditional, AZERTY) . This is the standard keyboard used in France.

Step 5: Confirm the keyboard addition
Once the AZERTY keyboard is added, you will see it appear in the list of installed keyboards. You can now use it immediately.

Step 6: Remove the QWERTY keyboard (optional)
